Be Thankful

 

This week especially reminds us, but why not each week? Create a list of items in your life that you are thankful for. Keep them in a notebook, or put them in a jar, and by the New Year you will many reasons to be happy! Here’s some thoughts to get you started:

* Woke up without hitting the snooze button!

* Said something positive to the first person I saw

* Made a better choice at lunch

* Drank more water

* Went to bed earlier

* Took 3 deep breaths before I spoke

* Planned my weeks worth of meals

* Organized my closet

* Got to the gym 3 times this week

You get the picture… It’s the small successes that build upon a great goal. Each step in the right direction should be celebrated!  Motivation comes from within, remind yourself of the “why” and focus on the “how”.
